Emma Schwartz is a communications professional with over 10 years of experience writing, editing and designing content for humanitarian assistance and international development organizations. She’s been behind the scenes supporting SIA communications for six years.

She’s passionate about crafting communications that inspire compassion, action and impact — material that relays a deeply human story, and content that is as original and compelling as it is actionable and clear. Her assignments have taken her from Kenya to Timor-Leste and beyond, and her work has covered subjects including global health, climate change and refugee crises.

She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communications and Media Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emma currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
